Continuous cross-linking of different actors in the field of art education and multiform documentation of the individual parts of the congress constitute the basis for the transfer of results. This aims not only at expanding expert discourses but at widely publicizing the discipline of art education in our current and future society.

Thus, the publication concept follows a mixed-media approach in order to use various channels of distribution and – following with the congress’ main theme – to include participatory elements. The BuKo12 website offers conference reports, video documentations, a photo gallery and publications about the individual parts of the congress, which are available for download. Furthermore, a book series will be published that represents the key subjects through the compilation of relevant documents as a process.
